John B. Judis serves as editor at large at Talking Points Memo. Previously, Judis worked as a senior writer at the National Journal and for many years as a senior editor at The New Republic. His books include The Politics of Our Time, The Populist Explosion, Genesis: Truman, American Jews, and the Origins of the Arab-Israeli Conflict, The Folly of Empire, The Paradox of American Democracy, and William F.
