Prior to that, Janet worked as a solicitor at Freehills, has a doctorate in law from the University of Sydney Law School, and also taught at that Law School.
Janet was a director, then chairman of the world’s oldest free market think tank, the Institute of Public Affairs, and has served as a director on boards of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation the Australian National Museum, and she was a member of federal government’s four-person ABC & SBS Board Appointments Panel.
