Although many thought the pandemic would be over by now, COVID-19 continues to rage across the world. Now, vaccine passports are being introduced in various jurisdictions and parts of the world are still in lockdown.
Add to this social unease, which continues to see people canceled for upsetting woke sensibilities, and athletes having decided to appoint themselves the moral arbiters of our time by doing everything from kneeling at the start of games to turning their back on their country’s flag.
