Richard Blandy is a Professor of Economics al lhe F1inders Unjversity of South Australia and Di.rector of the NabQnal Institute of Labour Studies. He has written extensively in the areas of labour economics, industrial relations, economic demography, development and polilical economy. He has undertaken numerous research and consulting projects in several Pacific regfon counuies, including Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. Professor Blandy serves on the Advisory Council of the CIS.
